Susie was always fun. I remember walking the long distance from 26th and South Street,  where she lived to Southeast high school with her.   We picked up a bunch of girls on the way,  including Gayle Whitney, before we had cars.  I remember sitting in her extra large bedroom that she shared with her sister on the second floor of their house and listening to the tunes of our times especially "Simon and Garfunkel".   "The Bridge Over Troubled Water" song reminds me the most of her.   Mark had invited me to ride on his motorcycle and I had said no the day that Susie went with him.    That event has always been so shocking to me and very hard to forget.   Susie had a sweet generous spirit that is unforgettable.

I didn't know Mark had asked you for a ride Kim. I was there right after it happened. I went to Susie's mom's house and to Mark's mom's house and told both of them that they were in a car accident in front of Southeast... I asked Susie if she wanted a ride home as I had a car then. She said NO she was going to ride with Mark....OMG...how things happen.

I took Mrs Kuma to the hospital and Susie's mom was working at Richmand/Gordmans.

She was a close friend of mine also. I

God rest her soul. I miss her.
